RBI’s Post Conference – Adult Braille Literacy in Conflict-affected Areas in Mindanao RBI staff, representatives from Alternative Learning System, Persons with Disability Affairs Office, DepEd, project beneficiaries and other stakeholders.

RBI’s currently in Davao for the Project Evaluation of the Adult Braille Literacy (ABL) project. Attending the session are RBI staff, consultants and other stakeholders. The ABL project is In partnership with USAID.

#Resourcesfortheblind is currently attending the Closing Ceremony of the 2nd International Conference on Special Education 2017, Sarawak Malaysia. RBI is represented by Executive Director Ms. Amy Mojica and Job placement/Higher education Officer Mr.Marlo Lucas.

Reading Beyond Sight project under the All Children Reading- A Grand Challenge for Development was recently completed with highly commendable results. Definitely, its goal to improve the reading scores of children with blindness and low vision in early primary education was achieved.

In the picture are some of the children who successfully improved their reading skills after only a year of intervention.
